Wholesale Domestic Bathrooms COVID-19 Information
During this very difficult and unusual global pandemic, we felt it vital to be transparent with both our Wholesale Domestic Team and you the customer. As a company, we provide sanitaryware & plumbing goods to both trade and consumer and have a duty to continue to supply these essential items. These essential items come in the form of; Taps, Basins, Showers & Toilets, and as a result, our online store remains open with priority of dispatch being given to those who are already in the midst of a renovation and those who let us know they are working on an emergency basis.
To allow us to remain open, we have put certain measures in place to ensure safety for everyone involved, following the Government’s guidelines every step of the way, which we have demonstrated below.
Our Aberdeen & Glasgow showrooms, closed on Tuesday 24th March and will remain closed until we feel it is in the interests of our staff and customers to readdress this following government advice.
Our dedicated Trade & Customer Counter is open for ordering and collection only with strict social distancing measures in place, and a change to the opening hours. This area is now open Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 17:00.
Can I order goods, and how do I do that?
For collectionYou can place your order online by clicking ‘Collect from Store’ or with our customer service agents over the phone. We will advise you of a collection date and time, in which you must pick up your goods. These collection windows will be daily (Monday – Friday) from 10am, abiding completely by social distancing practices.
For deliveryYou are still able to place orders with us online, or over the phone with our Customer Service agents, and we endeavour to deliver these within our usual timeframe.
All our customer service and office staff are now working from home, and are contactable via telephone and email as well as through our social channels. For those who are unable to perform their role from home, due to the nature of their job, we have put a number of key safety measures in place:
- All washing facilities in all departments are split amongst those workers attending site ;
- An increase in the cleaning and sanitation of all facilities;
- Each employee is guided to work following all distancing guidelines;
- All access to our showrooms has been suspended;
- Face masks, handwash and alcohol spray are in plentiful supply and available for use throughout
How does delivery work?
When you place an order, our dedicated Transport Team will contact you directly regarding your delivery, and personalise this to suit your requirements using our specially selected carrier network as we have suspended the use of our own vehicles at this time.
We are ensured that our carrier partners are running contactless delivery. This means that if you order a product, large or small, our drivers will place that order at your door then withdraw to a safe distance, while waiting on you opening the door. This is the best way in which to keep both you the customer and our delivery team safe.
