The RAK Ingot 300mm x 1200mm Recessed Niche with 2 Shelves & LED in Black is a 304-grade stainless steel recessed shower niche measuring 300mm wide and 1200mm tall, finished in a matt black electrophoretic process coating. The integrated LED illumination provides a wash of light within the niche aperture, highlighting the stored items and adding a design feature to the shower wall.
Recessed niches are an increasingly popular shower accessory — built into the wall during installation, they provide organised, accessible storage for shower products without cluttering the shower tray or requiring a shower shelf to be fixed to the wall. The Ingot niche's matt black finish is designed to co-ordinate directly with the Ingot basin and waste range for a cohesive suite of accessories. The shelf divides the niche into two accessible zones for different product sizes.
304-grade stainless steel construction is the appropriate material for a permanently wet environment — it resists rust, corrosion, and the effects of shower products and cleaning chemicals. The integrated LED provides IP44-rated illumination, confirming it is rated for use in shower and bathroom environments.
