Corner Trims

Consider corner trims when installing wall panels or bathroom tiles to create a flush, waterproof edge. Without them, there's a risk of moisture seeping into the walls, potentially leading to damage and structural problems over time.

At Wholesale Domestic, we offer an extensive selection of corner trims, combining both style and practicality to safeguard your bathroom against moisture-related issues. Explore our range today to find the perfect trims for your bathroom project.

When you need tile corner trims

Tile corner trims, or wall panel corner trims are used in bathroom spaces that are exposed to moisture, such as the shower enclosure, and corners near to vanity units. That said, any internal or external corner can benefit from a trim to keep it flush and free from harmful bathroom moisture.

Our range of corner trims

Wall Panel Trims: Our popular W-shaped internal corner trims come in various colours, suitable for a wide range of interior designs. For those opting for grey or silver wall panels, for example, our WholePanel 10mm Silver Wall Panel Internal Corner Trim is an excellent choice. It ensures a flush, waterproof corner, and creates a true 90-degree edge for a polished finish.

External Corner Trims: External corners also require the same level of flushness and waterproofing. Consider our WholePanel 5mm Black Wall and Ceiling Panel External Corner Trim, which can be easily installed using adhesive, ensuring a secure and watertight finish.

Last Panel Profile Trims: Choosing the right corner trim for your bathroom is crucial. We offer a range of options to achieve the best results. Our last panel profile trims, such as the Multipanel Classic 11mm Wall Panel Last Panel Profile Trim Type Y White, are perfect for the final corners on walls, ceilings, or shower enclosures. These trims sit flush on one panel, with a groove for another, ensuring a seamless and watertight finish.

How to install corner trims

Installing internal corner trims involves two main components: the W-shaped corner trim and a cover. First, ensure the wall is clean and dry. Apply suitable bathroom adhesive to the back of the W-shaped corner trim and position it in the corner, allowing the groove to run down the centre. Let the adhesive dry completely.

Next, install your wall panels or tiles by applying adhesive to their backs and fitting them into place, ensuring they align with the corner trim. Attach the cover to the groove on the corner trim to create a seamless finish. Double-check alignment and clean up any excess adhesive. Allow the adhesive used for the panels to fully cure according to the manufacturer's instructions. This process ensures a professional and waterproof corner in your bathroom.
