The Kingston Sandwich Square Soft Close Toilet Seat is an easy way to give a square toilet a smarter, more finished look. When it's closed, the seat and lid line up flush with each other, so you see one tidy, even shape rather than two layers, and the crisp square outline follows the straight lines of a modern pan.

It comes in gloss white, which keeps your bathroom feeling bright and fresh and works with just about any tiles or colour scheme. Made from polypropylene, it's light to handle yet tough enough for everyday family life, and the glossy surface makes a quick clean-up straightforward.

Say goodbye to slammed lids. The soft close hinges let the lid lower itself slowly and quietly, which everyone will appreciate during late-night or early-morning visits. The hinges combine stainless steel and nylon, so the mechanism that does the work is as well made as the seat itself.

Fitting is done from above thanks to the top fix hinges, so there's no need to reach underneath the pan. That makes it a handy choice for back to wall and wall hung toilets, where getting behind or below the pan isn't easy. The hinge hole centres are 153mm, and the seat measures 354mm wide, 422mm deep and 18mm high, so it's worth a quick check against your toilet before ordering.

At just 1.5kg, the Kingston is a simple, affordable upgrade, whether you're replacing a tired old seat or putting the finishing touch on a brand-new bathroom. It also comes with a 1 year guarantee, so you can buy with confidence.
