The RAK Feeling Oval Matt Greige 550mm Counter Top Basin is a vessel-style vitreous china basin measuring 610mm deep x 425mm wide x 175mm tall, designed to sit on top of a vanity unit or countertop surface. Part of the RAK Feeling collection, this no-tap-hole basin is produced in a warm greige — a nuanced blend of grey and beige that brings a natural, organic feel matt finish — a distinctive alternative to standard white gloss basin styles.
The counter top basin format positions the basin above the worktop rather than recessed within it, creating a visual feature that draws the eye and defines the vanity area. The oval form in matt greige is particularly effective when paired with brushed brass, brushed gold, or warm-toned brassware and a contrasting dark or neutral countertop. The matt vitreous china finish has a tactile, soft quality that gloss alternatives cannot replicate.
Vitreous china provides the same hygienic, non-porous surface properties in matt as in gloss finish — the fired glaze resists bacterial adhesion and staining and cleans easily with standard bathroom products. The matt surface is resistant to water spotting and fingerprints, making it a practical choice as well as an aesthetic one.
