The RAK Silvia Matt Grey 450mm Drop In Kitchen Sink is a 450mm wide drop-in kitchen sink in a contemporary cool grey matt fireclay finish. Part of the RAK Silvia collection of coloured kitchen sinks, this sink is designed for homeowners who want to introduce a distinctive colour accent to their kitchen without compromising on the quality and durability that fireclay construction provides.
Drop-in sinks are installed from above into a pre-cut countertop aperture, with the rim resting on the worktop surface. The matt grey matt finish is fired into the fireclay body during kiln manufacture — it is not a surface coating and will not chip, peel, or fade over time. The finish coordinates naturally with warm-toned cabinetry and natural material kitchen schemes and provides a colourful focal point in the kitchen worktop area.
Fireclay is one of the most durable kitchen sink materials available — harder and more resistant to chipping than cast iron, and with a smooth, dense surface that resists staining and discolouration from cooking residue, cleaning products, and limescale. The matt surface is resistant to visible water marks and scratches compared to high-gloss alternatives.
Drop-in installation — requires pre-cut countertop aperture. Sealant required around perimeter. Waste fittings not included.
